The affordable Rose UltraConsole KVM sets itself apart from standard KVM switch products by allowing Serial and Multi-platform devices to blend together within the same KVM solution. Bulky adapters, which often add a point of failure, will not be needed with the UltraConsole if users require switching capabilities with serial equipment. A simple Rose UltraCable is all that's required in order to communicate with serial devices attached to the KVM switch. Serial access through the UltraConsole provides serial support to routers, Ethernet hubs, UNIX devices and more. Two convenient thumb-screws fasten the front panel to the chassis which conceals the unit when not in use.
