The growing popularity of SOHO
multimedia applications has led to the addition of audio and USB
sharing to Aten's latest two-port MiniView KVM switches. Based
on the versatile CS-142, the CS-172 adds a shared USB port, while the
CS-182 adds speaker/microphone sharing. Perfect for home uses,
presentations and many other multimedia applications, these MiniView
KVM switches offer mouse translation, which enables you to control
PS/2 and Serial computers using a PS/2 mouse.
Aten MiniView
CS-142 Two-Port KVM Switches
Aten's CS-142 - a
simple solution for those with more PCs than free hands. Use one
keyboard, one mouse and one monitor to control up to two PCs or
Macintosh systems.* This self-powered KVM switch feature mouse &
keyboard emulation to ensure smooth operation, as well as support for
Plug-n-Play monitors and most wheel mice. Our patented Video Signal
Enhancement technology provides rich, 32-bit color at resolutions up
to 1920 x 1440.

support requires ATEN's ADB to PS/2 Adapter (CV-160)

Aten MiniView
CS-172 Two-Port KVM Switches
Aten's CS-172
supports high resolution video (up to 1920 x 1440) and most enhanced
wheel mice are supported bu the CS-172, while PS/2 to serial mouse
translation allows both PS/2 and Serial computers to be controlled
with a PS/2 mouse. A single downstream USB port is shared among the
two computers, but the number of shared USB devices can be expanded by
connecting a USB hub. Now you can share your USB scanner, mouse,
joystick, or any other USB device among your two PCs or Macintosh
systems*. Because the CS-172 fully complies with the latest USB
standards, you can be sure your USB devices will function to their
full potential when connected to the CS-172.
Macintosh support requires ATEN's PS/2 to Mac adapter (CV-160)
