The Avocent 16-port, 2 digital pathway AutoView 2000R
KVM over IP switch provides 2 simultaneous users with remote
BIOS-level control of sixteen PS/2, USB, Sun and serial
based computers and network devices over UTP cabling. The
advanced AVRIQ server interface cables implemented with each
computer automatically assigns and maintains unique server
names for each attached devices along with providing users
with a reduction in cable clutter. Local PS2 ports provide
users with access to all attached computers at the rack. The
bundled AVWorks management software provides users with
secure remote management from a web browser.
Avocent's latest AutoView switches combine analog and IP-based
KVM switching for local access from anywhere in the data center
and IP-based access for extended or remote users.
The 16-port AutoView 2000R offers the convenience of a local
user and simultaneous access for dual IP-based users.
The
AVRIQ CAT 5 design cable interface works seamlessly between
the AutoView switch and the server. This smart cable interface
reduces cable bulk and eases re-configurations. For complete
system administration, Avocent's
AVWorks advanced management software is bundled with each
switch. AutoView also features the patented On-Screen Configuration
and Activity Reporting (OSCAR) management tool for convenient
point and click system configuration and server selection at
the rack
