Adder KVM Extender

KVM Extenders encompass analog or digital video extension and control signals in a single KVM Extender product. The AdderLink KVM Extender range includes DVI Extenders, HDMI extenders and Displayport extenders all including USB Extenders.The range also has stand alone analog VGA Extenders, HDMI Extenders, DVI Extenders and legacy PS/2 Extenders. A transmitter or encoder is placed at the computer and a decoder or remote user station is placed by the monitor and control devices, e.g. keyboard, mouse, touch screen, graphic tablet or other USB device. These are connected together by means of a twisted pair copper (referred to as Cat X) or fibre optic cable. Distances supported are from 10 Meters to 10 Kilometres.

The ADDERLink X2, (part of the ADDERLink X Series range), extends very high quality video, keyboard, mouse and transparent, high speed RS232 up to 300m (1000ft) over Category 5 or higher UTP cable.

The ADDERLink X2 operates in the same way as the ADDERLink X2 Silver, but does not have de-skew.

ADDERLink X-Skew

ADDERLink X-Series Skew Compensation module.
When transmitting video across CAT5e and CAT6 cable, sometimes the colours making up the image can become separated. ADDER’s Skew compensation module uniquely enables the user to adjust the Red, Green and Blue Channels and compensate for cable length differences. Using simple dipswitches, users can configure the unit using the information provided from the reporting function on the X-Series KVM modules, or manually configure the unit using Red, Green, Blue and distance dipswitches.
