non-profit agencies nationwide. We offer a pro-bono
data center health check and energy efficiency
assessment, a service valued at $10,000, to
nonprofits interested in lowering the amount of
carbon and green house gases their data center and
computer rooms produce while reducing the amount
they spend on their energy bills.
Pro Bono Data Center Efficiency Assessment
42U proudly provides this pro-bono service to
organizations that demonstrate a passion and
commitment to making a difference. Helping
charitable organizations improve their efficiency
aids society on many levels. As charities improve
their efficiency, they reduce their carbon footprint
along with their CapEx and OpEx costs. Fewer costs
translate into a greater ability to do more for the
common good. Together, we can promote a message of
social responsibility and environmental stewardship.

What's Involved?
42U's data center professionals evaluate your
facility. We perform a thorough onsite examination
of the entire data center environment which includes
taking manual power and environmental measurements.
From there, we analyze the data, calculate the PUE/DCiE,
and prepare a report, noting our findings and
identifying potential issues, improvements and ways
to increase energy efficiency.
Who's Eligible?
To be eligible for a complimentary assessment, you
must be a 501c3 charitable organization or nonprofit
focused on solving social and environmental
problems. If you are not sure if you qualify, please
contact 42U. We can make that determination.
How Do I Qualify?
