The Avocent DSR4160 switch provides IP connectivity for up to four simultaneous users. This 16-port system is accessed and controlled with Avocent's DSView Windows application for 'point-and-click' control to any connected PC-based server. DSView uses industry standard TCP/IP connections so that you can easily troubleshoot, or even reboot a server, from the NOC, from your desk, or from any location in the world. The Avocent DSRIQ smart cable provides CAT 5 connectivity from the switch to the server. This slim CAT 5 design significantly reduces cable bulk in the rack and is designed for high density server environments.
