The SmartNet-X SNX16X16 is a 16x16 UXGA/AUDIO/IR over CAT5 video matrix switch with RS422 control. This switch is a high-quality switching matrix for video and stereo audio type signals. All signal formats are catered for including VGA, SVGA, XGA and UXGA. Standard VGA connectors (HD15 sockets) are used on the rear of the video switch for ease of installation of video connectivity and RCAs for computer audio.

Standard SmartAVI SmartNet-X receiver units are used at the end on each CAT5 cable to recover the signals. High quality receiver circuits incorporating cable loss compensation provide results up to resolutions of 1600 x 1200 @85Hz.
