If our total number of computers and users is greater than 14, you can make use of Avocent's expansion modules. Connecting an expansion transmitter in one XP4040/XP4080 unit to the expansion receiver in another XP4040 unit enables you to combine multiple units into one system. Transmitter and receiver cards are connected by CAT 5 UTP cables.
