Raritan MXU28 MasterConsole
The 1U rack-mountable MXU28 MasterConsole II 2-user x 8-port KVM switch
allows users to control and operate up to 8 server room computers with 2
user consoles consisting of a single PS2 keyboard & mouse and VGA
monitor. Hot-swappable ports allow for seamless computer connectivity to
the KVM along with flawless computer port shifting whenever necessary.
KVM switching is accomplished through the advanced on-screen display
interface or by means of push-buttons or hot-keys. Capable of storing up
to 6 profiles, each MasterConsole KVM user can save information unique
to their own liking. Being a dual-user KVM, the additional KVM user
attaches to the MasterConsole switch by means of a Cat5 based receiver
unit called the URKVMG. Along with supporting a second simultaneous
user, the supplementary receiver box will extend the user console up to
1000ft over UTP cabling away from the MXU28 KVM switch.
Raritan MXU216 MasterConsole
The 1U rack-mountable MXU216 MasterConsole II 2-user x 16-port KVM
switch allows users to control and operate up to 16 server room
computers with 2 user consoles consisting of a single PS2 keyboard &
mouse and VGA monitor. Hot-swappable ports allow for seamless computer
connectivity to the KVM along with flawless computer port shifting
whenever necessary. KVM switching is accomplished through the advanced
on-screen display interface or by means of push-buttons or hot-keys.

Raritan MasterConsole MXU2
MasterConsole MXU2 is a full-featured, two-user KVM
switch with built-in extended access capability. Models are available that
enable users to access and operate up to 8 or 16 servers, expandable to
128. Locate one user console near the switch; the other may be located up
to 1,000 feet away from the MXU2 using Category 5 UTP cable. An optional
articulated cable management arm enables mounting behind a standard
keyboard LCD drawer.
The two-user architecture with built-in extended access
capability, advanced security features, powerful on-screen user interface,
rear-mounting option, and multi-platform support make MXU2 an ideal
solution for medium sized, high-density server environments.

For convenient, clustered access and control of
high-density rack mounted servers in large-scale data centers, connect
MXU2 units directly to Raritan's
Paragon
with a single Category 5 UTP cable.
There are two MasterConsole MXU2 models--8-channel
(MXU28), and 16-channel (MXU216). For a second user console, up to 1,000
feet away, use Raritan's Cat5 Reach receiver (URKVMG)

The intelligent, on-screen user interface and
multi-level security options make operation safe and simple. Select
computers by user-defined name or channel ID from pop-up menus--selected
computer's name is displayed on the screen for positive identification.
Connect MXU2 units directly to Paragon (UMT8) with a
single Category 5 UTP cable for convenient, clustered access and control
of multiple servers. The MXU2 compact design saves precious rack space and
provides local user access to servers.
