DirectNET Joins Hurricane Katrina Aid Relief Efforts!
Broomfield,
CO – September 7, 2005:
DirectNET, the nation’s
leading provider of centralized
datacenter management solutions,
proudly joined in the humanitarian relief effort for the victims
of Hurricane Katrina. The company has committed to
matching all employee donations to the Red Cross and other
charities earmarked to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
The company is also in the process of
organizing a blood drive and is exploring other ways in which we
can help.
Immediately after the hurricane disaster the
company organized a brainstorm session with all of it's
employees to come up with the best ways we could help the
victims of Hurricane Katrina. One decision was for the
company to immediately set up matching funds
for every dollar donated by it's employees.
DirectNET's employees
have donated generously last week and over the coming weeks the company
will be mailing sizable donations to the Red Cross on a weekly
basis. Other decisions were for the company to organize a
blood drive and place donation information and links on the home
pages of all
DirectNET
companies' web
sites.
"Our employees responded enthusiastically and generously to the
relief efforts to help our fellow citizens" said Alan Mamane,
DirectNET
CEO
and founder.
One of
DirectNET's core vales is "Pursuing a Common
Good", where employees are strongly encouraged to work for the
greater good of the whole. In addition to humanitarian
aid, the company proudly supports improving the quality of life
in our community. In 2004 and 2005, the company and it’s
employees also gave sizable donations to the victims of the
Asian tsunami, to local community housing, schools, and
religious organizations.
