LongView is simple to install; no software or expensive networks are required. Just place your peripherals at your remote location, connect the cables and use your PC just as if it were in the same room. There are no jumpers or switches to configure. AutoTuning feature automatically optimizes and configures for your cable length, video resolution and serial async rate (patent pending) without user intervention.

The LongView family of KVM Extenders allows you to extend a keyboard, monitor, mouse, speakers, microphone and COM serial port up to 500 feet from your computer of KVM switch with one Category 5 UTP cable. A single Category 5 UTP cable connects your keyboard, monitor and mouse to your PC or Cybex KVM switch. The LongView supports a wide variety of PS/2 style mice, including Microsoft IntelliMouse, Logitech Mouseman + /Marble + /Marble FX, IBM ScrollPoint and Kensington Expert Mouse The LongView consists of a transmitter and a receiver, each a compact 8.1 x 4.8 x 1.9 inches. The system is powered by a single wall-mount power supply, provided with the unit.
