Raritan KVM Product Firmware Upgrades There are three (3) convenient ways for you to update your Raritan product. - Firmware downloads:Paragon (UMT8, UST1) and MasterConsole (MX4, MXU2, SMX, and II) models have admin. ports that enable upgrading the unit's firmware in the field. Raritan's Paragon Update and MC Update utility allows any Windows 95/98 PC the capability to update firmware files to your Raritan product utilizing a straight through serial cable.
- Technical Support Center: Most Raritan products can be sent to Technical Support and upgraded with the most current firmware, free of charge, within your product's warranty period.
- Field Replacement Chips: Many of Raritan's products have replaceable chips that can be customer field serviced. If you choose to replace the firmware chips at your location, Raritan will send the replacement chips and installation instructions, free of charge, within your product's warranty period.
Prior to upgrading your Raritan products we suggest you contact Raritan Technical Support at (800) 724-8090 or your local Raritan reseller to discuss the compatibility of firmware releases and which options apply to your Raritan Product.

Posted 07/10/07: The latest NTI firmware upgrade is the for Video Matrix Switch (VEEMUX SM-nXm-15V-LCD) & Audio/Video Matrix Switches (VEEMUX SM-nXm-AV-LCD). With this upgrade, NTI has updated the Ethernet Control and Front Panel LCD Firmware Files for these two video switch families. The new firmware provides support for "Outputs Scanning Sequences", a
programmable sequence that allows individual outputs to switch to selected individual inputs for a limited user-specified period of time. The firmware also allows for telnet commands on port 2005. Click here for NTI KVM and Audio Video Downloads
