The DVI KVM Extender switches shown above are some of the industries most intuitive solutions for extending keyboard, digital video, & mouse (KVM) signals over relatively long distances utilizing Fiber Optic cabling. While Cat5 KVM Extenders can handle distances of up to 1,000 meters. DVI KVM Extenders are more appropriate when longer distances, higher resolution, and security is essential. Though they can't provide the same level of resolution sharpness or security as Fiber KVM Extenders, for even greater distances Remote KVM over IP Server Access Switches should also be considered.
