Rittal LCP Extend Rack Door Mounted High Density Cooling (Up to 10 kW)
Rittal's LCP Extend
brings data center cooling to the rack level,
utilizing chilled water to eliminate hot spots when
retrofitted to existing high density cabinets
providing 10 kW of useful cooling output. Using
Rittal's Liquid Cooling Packages have been proven to
reduce energy consumption in data center cooling by
30-45%, making them the perfect addition to the
environmentally conscious data center.
Ideal for retrofitting, the LCP
Extend is installed on the rear door of problem
racks. The LCP Extend can be ordered for use on
cabinets from other manufacturers. If you are
already using Rittal cabinets, the unit comes with
standard attachment hardware to simply swap it out
with the existing rear door.
The LCP extend is optimized for smaller
installations, as it occupies no floor space.

Rittal LCP Extend
Liquid Cooling System
The Rittal LCP Extend offers many benefits:
Potential Energy Savings
- Reduce the need for traditional data center
climate control and provide the same heat
removal capacity for much lower energy usage by
utilizing the "Free Cooling" capacity of
existing climate control systems.
Flexibility
- The capability to cool one or two cabinets
from a single LCP or LCP Plus system, depending
on potential heat loads.
Expandable
- Providing a scalable system that can grow as
the IT installation grows with modular units
that provide simple connections to existing
facility infrastructure.
Redundancy
- Can provide multiple levels of redundancy to
meet the most demanding installation criteria
from N+1 to 2N and beyond.
