THe APC NetworkAIR
AP7003 is a
portable, compact air conditioner designed for
spot-cooling, emergency-cooling, and after-hours
cooling of server closets, data centers, conference
rooms, home offices, or rooms that house
heat-sensitive equipment. The AP7003
provides 1.6 kWh of cooling power. It
automatically adjusts room
temperature and reduces moisture while filtering the
air.

easily installed without refrigerant lines or
remote heat exchangers. The unit requires only
power, condensate drain and an available return
plenum to provide effective cooling.

Server Room Cooling System
The APC AP7003 offers many benefits:

- Direct drive motors: Stress on bearings is
nearly eliminated, increasing useful life.
Allows integral fan/motor assembly to be factory
balanced, which lowers vibration and expedites
startup.
- Steam humidifier: Humidity is managed
through a self-contained steam canister
humidifier for maximum efficiency and ease of
maintenance. The pure-steam canister maintains
consistent capacity output, and requires very
little scheduled maintenance.
- Scroll compressors: Utilize few moving parts
for increased reliability and life expectancy.

cooling periods.

groups of precision air conditioners to
communicate with each other for redundancy,
demand fighting prevention, mode assist, and
global sharing of certain settings.
- Microprocessor controller: Provides
proactive control and real-time monitoring via a
four line, eighty character, alphanumeric
display.
