The APC NetworkAIR ACPA4000 is a
portable, compact air conditioner designed for
spot-cooling, emergency-cooling, and after-hours
cooling of server closets, data centers, conference
rooms, home offices, or rooms that house
heat-sensitive equipment. The ACPA4000
provides 3.8 kWh (13,000 BTU) of cooling power. It
automatically adjusts room
temperature and reduces moisture while filtering the
air.
Additional features of the equipment
include:

Self-contained design: The unit
is quickly and easily installed without
refrigerant lines or remote heat exchangers. The
unit requires only power, condensate drain and
an available return plenum to provide effective
cooling.

Microprocessor controller:
Provides proactive control and real-time
monitoring via a four line, eighty character,
alphanumeric display.

Network interface: Provides
management by connecting the device directly to
the network with a dedicated IP address,
avoiding the need for a proxy such as a server.
Management is available via Web browser, Telnet
or SSH. Notification features inform you of
problems as they occur.

Temperature/humidity probe:
Monitors the room temperature and relative
humidity up to 12 feet away. Can be used for
controlling set points.

Condenser ducting kit: Directs
heated condenser air outside the cooled space.

Field replaceable components:
Fans and electronics module can be readily
replaced without uninstalling the unit.

global sharing of certain settings.
