LCP+ In-Row High Density Cooling (Up to 30 kW)
Rittal's LCP+ brings
data center cooling to the rack level, utilizing
chilled water in a closed-loop configuration to
prevent heat loss and eliminate hot spots, providing
28 kW of useful cooling output. Using Rittal's
Liquid Cooling Packages have been proven to reduce
energy consumption in data center cooling by 30-45%,
making them the perfect addition to the
environmentally conscious data center.
Measuring 80" high by
48" deep, the LCP Plus sidecar design includes six
fan modules that work in concert with a heat
exchanger to scale cooling capacity to 95,540 BTU
(28 kW) with a maximum air volume of 2825 cfm (4800
m3/hr). The LCP Plus (and LCP Standard) can be bayed
to a single cabinet or between two enclosures. It is
also possible to put a pair of LCPs on either side
of especially hot cabinets for applications where
extreme heat loads are present. As a closed loop
solution, the LCP Plus is thermally neutral to the
room at large and may be installed in closets,
warehouses or wherever precision cooling is
required.
The sidecar design
prevents water from penetrating the server rack,
making it more assembly and service-friendly. LCPs
are easy to handle (max. 2 m) and may be transported
in lifts and through doors. The low weight means a
minimal area load.
