Avocent SPC420 Features and Benefits The Avocent DSView 3 management software interface lets you easily associate server names with actual power outlet ports on the SPC power control device. Avocent DSView 3 software also allows grouping of dual-server power supplies as well as separating the power supplies on different power sources. This gives you true redundancy and control of dual-powered servers. Note: Avocent DSView 3 software is sold separately. - Intelligent Power Management. Individual, addressable power outlets let you remotely reboot devices from any location in the data center or across the globe.
- Integrated Power Management. Access to SPC power control device from Avocent DSView 3 software provides built-in support for servers with multiple power supplies and reduces the possibilities of inadvertently switching off the wrong server / target device.
- Ease of Use. Available in 4, 8 and 16-outlet models, with configurable port grouping and naming, multi-port commands and enhanced administration.
