The LV1000 supports physical separation requirement
up to 1000 feet with any UTP cable without compromising
your experience. The simple transmitter and receiver
pair design allows for ease of installation and simple
deployment.
Target devices are typically multiplatform computers,
or a KVM switching infrastructure. The user station
may be a desktop environment, KVM switching infrastructure
console or a video/audio display unit.

Easily connect to USB and SUN machines.
Avocent LongView 1000U User Peripherals: Extends
keyboard, video, mouse, speakers, microphone and serial
devices up to 1000 feet with any UTP cable type. Connect
PS/2 and USB keyboard and mouse at the user station,
regardless of the target device platform.
Avocent LongView 1000U Auto Tuning: This unique
feature will automatically compensate for video skew
and signal loss, delivering clear crisp video images
up to 1000 feet at a resolution of 1280 x 1024.
Avocent LongView 1000U Dual Mode: The dual
mode transmitter supports a second user connection locally
at the target device or remotely up to 1000 feet away
with an additional LV1000R receiver unit.
Avocent LongView 1000U Small Form Factor:
The small form factor user station (receiver unit) supports
desk and flat panel monitor mounting with optional hardware.
Avocent LongView 1000U OSD: Configuration
and system information is easily accessed and updated
via the on- screen display.
Avocent LongView 1000U Ease of Installation:
