EVR1500 Monitoring Appliance
The Avocent EVR1500 appliance monitors and detects environmental
conditions that can adversely affect operation in the immediate
vicinity of servers and other network devices, and alerts system
administrators when those conditions occur. The EVR1500 device
comes with four pre-set internal sensors: temperature, humidity,
airflow and audio. It also has eight external configurable analog
sensors, six digital input sensors and two digital output sensors.

The EVR1500 is the newest addition to the Avocent DSR KVM
over IP. The DS Series is a comprehensive suite of IP-based
solutions for managing servers, serial devices and now, environmental
conditions in the rack. Like other products in the DS Series,
the EVR1500 can be accessed over IP connections and can be controlled
through the DS Series DSView interface. Using a single interface,
administrators can have CLICK AND CONNECT™ control of almost
any data center device.
