Using standard Internet connections, Avocent
KVM over IP technology allows DSView 3 centralized management software
to completely manage devices attached to the DSR switch solutions.
The DSR switches may also be combined with an external modem to
provide dial-up remote control capabilities. So even if the network
is down, the Avocent DSR switches provide secure 24/7 access to
manage critical IT assets in remote offices.
With Avocent’s technology, IT administrators
can reduce maintenance service calls. They also minimize the work
interruption of remote office employees to resolve IT equipment
issues.
The DSR1021, 1022, 1024 and 1031 KVM over
IP switches provide IT administrators with a range of solutions
designed for managing one to eight network devices in a remote location.
In addition, the DSR1031 switch provides Virtual Memory support
for remotely distributing files and applications to attached servers.
All DSR switches are designed to work seamlessly with the Avocent
DSView 3 management software, allowing IT administrators the ability
