Avocent AMX5120
The AMX5120 desktop user station provides users with KVM access to any target computer within the AMX matrix by utilizing PS2 or SUN peripherals attached to the AMX5120. Graphical viewing of the patented Avocent OSCAR GUI is enabled though a standard VGA monitor permitting users to configure the KVM system and allows server selection. In addition, AutoTuning technology implemented with every AMX5120 user station will automatically compensate for varying cable types and lengths and adjusts for signal losses each time a port switch is made. Programmed skew compensation for this particular user station adjusts RGB signals each time a switch is made to a server.
The Avocent AMX5120 desktop user station doubles as a monitor stand and provides access from your desk to one AMX KVM matrix switch and one local computer. The AMX5120 system connects to your multi-platform KVM peripherals and sends the KVM signals over an industry-standard UTP cable to an Avocent AMX matrix switch.
