Avocent AutoView 2000 dual-user 16-port Cat5 KVM switch provides PS/2, USB, Sun and serial connectivity over UTP cabling for two users with PS2 and VGA peripherals. The advanced AMIQ interface cables implemented with each computer automatically assigns and maintains unique server names for each attached device. In addition, users will see a reduction in cable clutter by introducing smart AMIQ server interface modules along with the 1U form factor AutoView Cat5 KVM. All plug-and-play AutoView 2000 components are linked using Category 5, 6, or 7 UTP cables. Managing KVM switching capabilities of the AutoView 2000 forces simple yet robust OSD that allows easy system configuration and quick server selection for both users.

Avocent’s multi-user AutoView 2000 KVM switch delivers simple, reliable and convenient connectivity to all major server platforms. Avocent AutoView 2000 features end-to-end CAT 5 connections, advanced cable management and powerful on-screen management. The AVRIQ CAT 5 designed cable interface automatically assigns and retains unique server names for each attached server, which simplifies installation and eases re-configuration.
